When I started studying Polish in July 2016 with Learn Polish in Gdańsk, I was so enthusiastic about learning the language and within a few months, I was able to say quite a few phrases and had built up a strong vocabulary. Thanks to my teacher Pani Alina, I have continued to learn Polish and everytime I return to Gdańsk I will set up lessons with her. Including some special lessons for Christmas 2016 and again in 2017.
A lot of my followers from other sites know in the past I tried to learn Cantonese, Spanish and French. But I was never really enthusiastic about them – I have started to learn Polish and I’ll be honest – I LOVE IT! Polish seems different to me – I really enjoy it. I am still a starter of course but here on this post is my first video (filmed on my first take as well). Thanks to my teachers Alina and Alicja at Learn Polish in Gdansk for helping me start learning and improve.
This is just the start, tell me if you like it. I hope my Polish followers can understand my Northern Irish accent and some of what I say. I can say a lot more than this, I can order food and drink, but these are good basics to know, and I cannot wait to learn more now that I am actually based in Poland and working with Polish companies. Dziękuję bardzo.
Below are some of the sentences I know so far, I can say them all and have also added a video below. Apologies for the mistakes, remember you need to make mistakes to learn!!

As well as Alina and Alicja, I also want to thank Artur G, Kasia P, Marta M, Piotr P and Rafał K for their help. Another “friend” originally offered help with learning Polish then didn’t do it, which meant she had lied when she said “I want to help you learn Polish”.
